Each Friday, theScore will preview the week's best matchups on the college football calendar. Here are the top games to watch in Week 11.

No. 2 Notre Dame at Boston College (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC)

Fresh off a massive win over No. 1 Clemson on Saturday night, Notre Dame heads east to face a very stout Boston College outfit. This scenario has played out before, as the Fighting Irish beat No. 1 Florida State in 1993 only to head to Boston College and lose the next week. A repeat is a very real possibility, as the Eagles sit 5-3 on the season with a strong performance against Clemson already under their belt. Adding to the intrigue is the story of Boston College quarterback Phil Jurkovec. The sophomore passer transferred from the Irish and was granted immediate eligibility with the Eagles. He's been a revelation with his new program, leading the conference in passing yards with 2,083 on the year.

No. 11 Oregon at Washington State (7:00 p.m. ET, Fox)

Those expecting Oregon to be the class of the Pac-12 must have been pleased with the Ducks' opening-week victory over Stanford. The defense was as good as advertised, holding its opponent to just 14 points, while the offense looked solid as it begins life without Justin Herbert. New quarterback Tyler Shough showed he's a real dual threat, throwing for 227 yards and a touchdown while adding 85 yards and a score on the ground. On the other side is Washington State, fresh off a win in head coach Nick Rolovich's debut. The offense didn't miss a beat without Mike Leach calling the shots last week, but a very strong Oregon defense presents a difficult home challenge Saturday.

Arkansas at No. 6 Florida (7:00 p.m. ET, ESPN)

One of the few SEC games that haven't been postponed by COVID-19 this week goes in Gainesville with Arkansas visiting No. 6 Florida. It's a homecoming for Razorbacks quarterback Feleipe Franks, who left the Gators as a grad transfer in the offseason. The move has worked out for both teams, with Florida's Kyle Trask emerging as a star and Franks turning into a very solid starter for Arkansas. The Gators are in a bit of a letdown spot after a massive win over Georgia, but with CFP hopes in full swing, expect Dan Mullen's outfit to make sure it gets the job done.

No. 10 Wisconsin at Michigan (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC)

Wisconsin is set to play just its second game of the season on Nov. 14. That's a full look at how crazy the 2020 campaign so far. The Badgers opened the year with an outrageous performance from quarterback Graham Mertz, as the highly touted prospect completed 20 of 21 passes for 248 yards and five touchdowns in a win over Illinois. He then promptly tested positive for COVID-19 as part of a major outbreak that has sidelined Wisconsin since. He's eligible to return this week, although head coach Paul Chryst has yet to say whether he will start. It's definitely a soft landing spot for Mertz to return, as Michigan's passing defense ranks second worst in the Big Ten. Jim Harbaugh's seat has never been hotter at his alma mater, and another loss might just seal his fate in Ann Arbor.

No. 23 Northwestern at Purdue (7:30 p.m. ET, ABC)

As weird as it may seem, a Nov. 14 Big Ten contest between Northwestern and Purdue features two undefeated teams. After pounding Maryland in the opener, the Wildcats pulled off two narrow wins to get to 3-0. Now they make the short trip to Purdue to face a Boilermakers outfit that is 2-0 and coming off a canceled contest. Northwestern's defense is the best unit on the field in this one, as it's yet to allow a point in the second half this season.
