Purdue wide receiver Rondale Moore remains unavailable Saturday versus Illinois and will be out of the lineup for the second consecutive week.

As was the case a week ago, the Boilermakers provided no additional information, according to Tom Dienhart of GoldandBlack.com.

Moore opted out of the season in August when the Big Ten season appeared unlikely, but reversed his decision once the conference announced its return to play. It's unknown if his unavailability is related to his initial opt out.

Moore enjoyed a thrilling freshman campaign in 2018, posting 114 receptions for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns while adding 213 yards and two scores on the ground. He reeled in 29 catches for 387 yards and two touchdowns over four games in an injury-shortened sophomore season.

The 20-year-old is projected to be one of the top wide receiver prospects in the 2021 NFL Draft.
