We dished out a couple of hot betting trends last weekend, including Alabama minus the points against Texas A&M and the TCU-Texas over.

Here's what's on tap for Week 6.

Back Florida following an ATS loss

There probably won't be too many spots to back Florida, which has surged all the way up to No. 3 in the country and is gaining traction at a blazingly quick pace. However, Saturday's contest against Texas A&M might be one of the few opportunities before the value's gone.

The Gators are 5-0 against the spread following a game in which they failed to cover, 7-2 ATS in their last nine conference matchups, and 31-12 ATS in the last 43 as road favorites.

Trend play: Florida -6.5

Fade Vanderbilt as a home underdog

Vanderbilt won't garner much support from the betting markets this season, no matter the spot - including getting a ton of points at home.

The Commodores are currently on a dreadful 1-9 run ATS as double-digit home 'dogs. Most recently, LSU demolished them 41-7.

South Carolina will likely give Vanderbilt some company in the SEC's basement this season, but this should still be a comfortable win for the Gamecocks.

Trend play: South Carolina -13

A rare spot to bet Texas

Anyone who seriously bets college football knows Texas head coach Tom Herman is notorious for pulling off upsets. He was terrific at picking up high-profile wins at Houston and has been great in the underdog role with the Longhorns.

Saturday's Red River Rivalry against Oklahoma is already appointment viewing, but if you want to throw some coin down, you should take the points: Texas is 8-1 ATS the last nine games as a 'dog at a neutral site.

Trend play: Texas +2

A letdown spot for Alabama?

Alabama came through with an easy win straight up and against the number last week. Is it time to jump ship this Saturday against Ole Miss?

Bama is just 1-7 ATS following a cover and 4-9 ATS after an outright win. Head coach Nick Saban has also struggled a bit in conference play of late, recording just three ATS wins over the last 10.

Trend play: Ole Miss +23

Something has to give for Clemson

Clemson was one of the most profitable teams in the country against the spread last season, but the program failed to cover in each of the last four. Is this weekend's prime-time tilt against Miami where bettors should strike?

Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is 17-5 ATS in the last 22 conference games, 18-8 ATS in the last 26 as a home favorite, and 20-8 ATS the last 28 after a 20-plus point win.

Trend: Clemson -14
