College football has a full slate of games this weekend. You better believe we're ringing it in with a handful of notable betting trends.

Although these trends aren't predictive, they do paint an interesting picture of how teams have fared in hyper-specific situations.

With plenty of value out there for the taking, here's what to keep an eye on.

Clemson is 10-1 against the spread the last 11 as a road favorite

Who says you can't profit off the big boys? Although Clemson is one of the biggest public favorites in the country, it was the fifth-best team against the spread in 2019 (11-4, 73.3%)! The Tigers have been lights-out when giving points away from home under head coach Dabo Swinney, covering 11 of the last 12.

They can make it 12 of 13 against a Wake Forest team that was No. 125 in returning offensive production entering the offseason.

Trend play: Clemson -33

Appalachian State is 7-1 against the spread the last 8 games in September

App State's officially on the map, so I wouldn't expect this trend to last much longer. The Mountaineers were one of the more underrated bets as they surged up the FBS ranks, which made them cash cows early in the year before the market caught on.

Last season, they drilled Charlotte 56-41 in Week 2.

Trend play: Appalachian State -17

Duke is 9-4 to the under the last 13 when getting points away from home

Duke's David Cutcliffe deserves a round of applause. Although this figures to be the swan song - or close to it - for the veteran head coach, he's been profitable in a few spots, including playing the total when the Blue Devils are underdogs on the road.

Cutcliffe and Co. have cashed nine of the last 13 unders in this spot. Expect the elite game-planner to have something up his sleeve for quarterback Ian Book and the rest of the Notre Dame offense.

Trend play: Under 54.5

Tulane is 8-1 ATS the last 9 as a favorite

One of the biggest surprise teams in 2019? Tulane, which tied for seventh nationally for the best record against the spread (9-4). Here, we want to play the Green Wave when they're giving points - in these situations, they're 8-1 ATS the last nine.

They have a chance to trip up a South Alabama club that could be in for a hangover following an upset win over Southern Mississippi.

Trend play: Tulane -8
