Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence released a statement Sunday on behalf of college football players, laying out a five-point plan of "actionable steps" that they hope to employ in order to address racial injustice in society.

The players plan to have all teammates registered to vote and free from athletic obligations on Nov. 3 in order to vote. They wish to discuss with school presidents and administrators ways to raise awareness about racial injustice and find ways to empower their communities.

Along with creating community outreach initiatives and hoping to normalize conversations about change, the players will also wear special shirts and make statements with their helmets and jerseys to recognize victims of racial injustice.
