Auburn's running game appears set to take a hit in 2020, as starting tailback JaTarvious Whitlow has entered the NCAA transfer portal, Matt Zenitz of AL.com reports.

Whitlow led the Tigers in rushing in each of the last two seasons. He accumulated 763 yards on the ground with 10 touchdowns in 2019.

Rumors recently surfaced that the junior running back's relationship with Auburn's coaching staff had broken down.

If Whitlow were to leave the TIgers, Gus Malzahn's squad would move forward with D.J. Williams, Mark-Antony Richards, Malik Miller, and incoming freshman Tank Bigsby in the backfield.
