Texas Tech's Bowman taken to locker room during second-half warmups, won't return

Texas Tech starting quarterback Alan Bowman had the Red Raiders up 31-28 at halftime of Saturday's game against Oklahoma, but he wasn't on the field to start the second half.

Bowman took part in post-halftime warmups, but was seen doubled over after throwing a pass. He was taken to the locker room before the second half could commence.

The freshman quarterback will not return to the game, the ABC booth said during the broadcast.

Sophomore Jett Duffey took over for the Red Raiders in the second half. Bowman completed 21 of 26 passes for 227 yards and two touchdowns in the first half.
