Michigan State's Davis carted off, suffers torn Achilles

Michigan State wide receiver Felton Davis III suffered a torn Achilles during the second quarter of Saturday's game against Michigan, the FOX broadcast revealed.

Davis stayed down on the field after falling to the ground while running a route. It was a non-contact play and Davis immediately grabbed his lower leg.

Prior to Saturday's game, Davis was off to an excellent to start to his senior year, recording 31 catches for 474 yards and four touchdowns.

It's a crushing loss for the Spartans with Davis featuring as their best receiver.
