Tagovailoa has dominated opponents all season, emerging as the front-runner to win the Heisman Trophy. The sophomore has completed over 75 percent of his passes for 18 touchdowns and zero interceptions, and has been pulled from every game because of blowout scores.
Tagovailoa ascended to stardom as a freshman last year after coming off the bench in the national championship game to lead the Crimson Tide to a comeback victory over Georgia.
