Historic moments, big-plays, and down-to-the-wire battles. College football's second week gave fans a bit of everything.

Here are the 10 best moments from an eventful Week 2:

Kentucky ends 31-year drought vs. Florida

The Wildcats earned a monumental 27-16 victory over Florida Saturday, ending a 31-game losing streak against the Gators. The 31-year run was the longest active losing streak against one opponent in the FBS. Outside linebacker Josh Allen ended the game with a strip sack that was returned for a touchdown.

Colorado spoils Scott Frost's debut

Colorado-Nebraska was arguably the most entertaining game of the week. Down by one point with just over a minute to play, Buffaloes quarterback Steven Montez tossed an incredible touchdown pass to Laviska Shenault which proved to be the game-winning score.

Jayhawks finally win on the road!

Kansas fans rejoice! The Jayhawks cruised to a 31-7 victory over Central Michigan, snapping the longest road losing streak in FBS history at 46 games.

Texas A&M falls just short of Clemson upset

In a game ripe with controversy, Texas A&M wide receiver Kendrick Rogers scored an incredible late touchdown to bring his team within two points of Clemson with less than a minute remaining. The Aggies, however, could not convert the two-point conversion to tie the game, falling short of the upset.

Tua throws 3 TDs in 1st quarter

Alabama demolished poor Arkansas State Saturday, cruising to a 57-7 win. Tua Tagovailoa was dominant from the get-go, throwing three touchdown passes in the first quarter.

Murray leads Heisman race

Kyler Murray may be the Heisman front-runner after two weeks. The Oklahoma quarterback threw for 306 yards and three touchdowns against UCLA, adding two more scores on the ground.

Lawrence connects with Higgins for jaw-dropping TD

Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins channeled his inner Randy Moss against Texas A&M, climbing over an Aggie defender en route to a spectacular 64-yard touchdown.

Salukis score 70-yard TD on botched snap

In the day's craziest play, Southern Illinois wide receiver Raphael Leonard streaked by the Ole Miss defense for a 70-yard touchdown after quarterback Sam Straub botched the snap.

Martinez dominates in 1st start

Nebraska freshman quarterback Adrian Martinez left Saturday's game against Colorado with an apparent knee injury, but was dominant beforehand during his first start. Martinez threw for 187 yards, ran for 117 yards, and accounted for two touchdowns.

USF freshman scores back-to-back return TDs

South Florida freshman receiver Terrance Horne had a game to remember against Georgia Tech, amazingly scoring back-to-back kickoff return touchdowns. Horne also caught a touchdown to add to his impressive afternoon.
