The SEC has deemed Florida wide receiver Van Jefferson eligible to play in the 2018 season following his January transfer from Ole Miss, according to ESPN's Adam Rittenberg.
The SEC lifted a ban on intraconference transfers this offseason, but Jefferson still needed a waiver to ensure he wouldn't be forced to sit out the entire campaign for transferring, as per NCAA rules.
The 6-foot-2 wideout recorded 91 catches for 999 yards and four touchdowns at Ole Miss over the past two seasons.
