ESPN announced a pair of major additions to its commentary teams and lineups for the 2018 college football season on Tuesday.

Sean McDonough returns from the NFL's "Monday Night Football" broadcast to pair with Todd Blackledge and Holly Rowe for the network's marquee "Saturday Primetime" game.

McDonough has been with ESPN since 2000 and will call games throughout the regular season and College Football Playoff. Blackledge won a national championship as a quarterback at Penn State. Rowe also covers men's and women's basketball, gymnastics, softball, and volleyball.

Former UConn and NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky was hired to be both a game and studio analyst for Friday night and Saturday broadcasts.

Orlovsky still holds records for touchdown passes and passing yards for his alma mater. He led the Huskies to the school's inaugural bowl victory to conclude the 2003 season.
