Add one final accolade for Georgia head coach Kirby Smart's incredible 2017.

The Maxwell Football Club announced that Smart has been named the George Munger Collegiate Coach of the Year Award winner.

Despite a heartbreaking loss to Alabama in the National Championship game, the second-year head coach enjoyed a successful season, leading the Bulldogs to 13-2 record and their first SEC championship since 2005. Georgia finished the year as the No. 2-ranked team in the country.

"The team's record is a great testament to the hard work of Coach and his staff, and also to the dedication shown by the student-athletes involved in the program," Maxwell Football Club Executive Director Mark Wolpert said in a statement.

Smart usurped his former boss, Nick Saban, who took home the award last year.
