A month after landing the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2018 in Emory Jones, Dan Mullen pulled in the No. 2 wide receiver, as Justin Watkins committed to Florida on Saturday night.

The 6-foot, 173-pound speedster is ranked as the 17th overall prospect in the country by ESPN, and is the sixth-best player in the talent-rich state of Florida.

Watkins was being pursued by a number of top programs including LSU, Florida State, and Texas, but opted to remain close to home.

Florida's passing attack was dreadful last season, ranking 102nd in the country, but Mullen is evidently doing his best to fix that in his first couple months as head coach.

In addition to adding Jones and Watkins, the former Mississippi State frontman snagged highly touted offensive players Dameon Pierce, Richard Gouraige, Kyle Pitts, and Iverson Clement in the early signing period.
