Clemson's depth chart at the quarterback position will look slightly different next season, as redshirt freshman Zerrick Cooper announced Friday that he's decided to transfer away from the program.

Clemson confirmed the announcement via Twitter:

Cooper redshirted during 2016 and saw limited playing time this past season. His most notable appearances were coming in as a replacement for an injured Kelly Bryant against Syracuse, and a stretch of mop-up time in a blowout win over The Citadel.

In total, Cooper completed 25 of 41 passes for 256 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 2017.
