Former Michigan and Rice running back Sam McGuffie, whose high school highlight reel made him a YouTube sensation, will be competing at the upcoming Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

McGuffie, 28, was announced as one of the 12 members of the 2018 U.S. Olympic men's bobsled team on Monday. He'll serve both as a push athlete and as a brakeman for one of the two-man crews.

A native of Cypress, Texas, McGuffie rushed for 486 yards and three touchdowns during his freshman year at Michigan. He then transferred to Rice, where he rushed for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns in three seasons.
