Texas A&M defensive lineman Zaycoven Henderson was arrested early Sunday after he allegedly pointed a rifle at several people and threatened to kill at least two, police confirmed to Ben Baby of the Dallas Morning News.

The senior starter was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and tampering with evidence - both felonies - and was also booked for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.

The incident took place only a few hours after Henderson attended the Aggies' football banquet. Henderson recorded 35 tackles, including five for loss, and 2.5 sacks this season.

Texas A&M will wrap up its campaign Dec. 29 in a Belk Bowl meeting with Wake Forest.
