UCF's Frost denies report he's near agreement with Nebraska

UCF coach Scott Frost shot down a report Saturday that he's near an agreement to take the Nebraska job, which remains occupied by embattled veteran Mike Riley.

"That's just totally false," Frost said of the claim, according to ESPN. "I haven't paid any attention to all of these whirlwind rumors and everything, and I'm not going to. I got an unbelievable team I'm coaching and I can promise you that no decision has been made."

Including a knockout of Temple on Saturday, the 42-year-old Frost has guided the Knights to a sparkling 10-0 record this season.

Riley is presumed to be on the hot seat, as Nebraska brought in a new athletic director midseason who has since touted Frost's resume. Nebraska was 4-6 heading into Saturday's game against Penn State.
