Alabama's Donnie Lee dismissed after domestic assault arrest

Alabama receiver Donnie Lee was arrested and charged with domestic assault Thursday, according to Alex Scarborough of ESPN.

A woman Lee was dating suffered injuries after an alleged incident with the walk-on receiver, according to a police report obtained by WBRC in Birmingham. Lee was dismissed by the Crimson Tide shortly after.

"Donnie Lee Jr., a walk-on who has not been participating in team activities since a knee injury in August, has been dismissed from our football team and is no longer part of our program," Alabama head coach Nick Saban said in a release. "This behavior will not be tolerated from anyone and is not representative of our football program."

The senior hasn't played this season because of a knee injury.
