Watch: Texas A&M squeaks by Arkansas on Watts' OT pick

Jeff Blake / USA TODAY Sports

Armani Watts may have saved his coach's job Saturday, as the Texas A&M safety sealed a 50-43 overtime victory for the Aggies by intercepting a pass from Arkansas QB Austin Allen in the end zone.

Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin has been the subject of job security rumors all season, and a second loss in four games to begin the season surely would've added fuel to the rumor mill.

Instead, the interception improved Texas A&M to 3-1 and instead may have put Arkansas coach Bret Bielema in danger of losing his job. The Razorbacks are now a disappointing 2-2.

Watts' pick ended a thriller of a contest at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The two sides traded touchdowns throughout the fourth quarter and into the beginning of overtime, where Kellen Mond found Christian Kirk in the end zone for what proved to be the game-winning score.

Kirk finished the afternoon with two receiving touchdowns and a 100-yard kick return touchdown.
