Quinton Flowers breaks USF record for career rushing TDs

Jasen Vinlove / USA TODAY Sports

Quinton Flowers now stands alone atop the South Florida record books, as the prolific quarterback broke the program's all-time rushing touchdown mark during Thursday's game against Temple.

Flowers entered the contest tied with Marlon Mack at 32 career rushing touchdowns, but pulled away from the Indianapolis Colts running back with a 22-yard scamper for his 33rd career score in the second quarter.

With at least seven games remaining in the season for the Bulls, Flowers will likely create even further separation from Mack before he graduates.
