Report: Teuhema eyeing 5 big-name schools after leaving LSU

Reinhold Matay / USA TODAY Sports

Standout offensive lineman Maea Teuhema is looking at USC, UCLA, Houston, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State as landing spots after obtaining his release to transfer from LSU, a source told Sports Illustrated's Bruce Feldman.

Teuhema was a two-year starter for the Tigers, playing at right tackle and left guard, but decided to leave the program Wednesday after he was suspended for violating team rules. Teuhema had missed practice Monday due to academic issues.

An undergraduate student, Teuhema won't be able to play for an FBS team this year. He has two years of playing eligibility left, beginning in 2018.
