Report: Notre Dame, Wisconsin working on Soldier Field series

Notre Dame and Wisconsin are discussing a potential football series that would be played at Soldier Field in Chicago, Teddy Greenstein of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Neither school offered an official comment on the report, though Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez noted in passing Monday at Big Ten Media Days that he'd be pleased if an agreement could be reached.

Notre Dame and Wisconsin, typically among the elite teams in college football, haven't met on the gridiron since 1964.
No announcement on the possible series is imminent, a source told Greenstein.
