Oklahoma's Sunderland hit with felony burglary charge

Jennifer Hilderbrand-US PRESSWIRE

A few days after being suspended by Oklahoma for an arrest, Will Sunderland was officially charged with felony burglary on Wednesday.

According to ESPN's Jake Trotter, the charge filed Wednesday is separate to the warrant issued for his arrest on a misdemeanor complaint of concealing stolen property.

Sunderland is accused of taking electronics from a dorm room on campus and selling them to an electronics store in Oklahoma City.

After playing in eight games in 2016 with 15 tackles and an interception, Sunderland was expected to compete for a starting job this season.
