California head coach Justin Wilcox will need to find a new starting left tackle for 2017.

Aaron Cochran, a fixture on the Golden Bears' offensive line last season, announced Thursday he plans to seek a graduate transfer to use his final year of eligibility.

Cochran didn't say what destination he has in mind for his final year of college football.

The 6-foot-8, 350-pounder from Atwater, Calif., made 10 starts last season at left tackle, with 16 total starts over 28 games in three years with California.
