Alabama running back Damien Harris was carted to the locker room Saturday after suffering an apparent ankle injury against Kent State, and won't return.

Harris had his right ankle heavily wrapped as he was being escorted, according to Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News. He was hurt on the game's opening series, as he took a helmet shot to the lower leg, courtesy of a Kent State defender.

Harris entered action with 327 yards and a touchdown for the Crimson Tide.
