Bloomsburg boots baseball player after offensive Mo'ne Davis tweet
Bloomsburg University has kicked a player off its baseball team for an offensive tweet about Little League World Series star Mo'ne Davis.
The Pennsylvania university's athletics department announced the dismissal of sophomore first baseman Joey Casselberry for the tweet sent from his account @BigCass24 – which has since been deleted . He used a derogatory term to criticize news that a Disney Channel movie will be made about Davis.

"Bloomsburg Univ is deeply saddened by what was written about #Mo'neDavis by one of our student-athletes," the university's athletics department tweeted on Saturday. "His words do not represent us."
Casselberry, hitting .389 with two home runs in six games, was the second-leading hitter in the 2015 season for Bloomsburg.
