In an inning where Florida State had already scored a run and had runners on first and second with nobody out, it appeared the Seminoles might crack the first game of their three-game Super Regional series against Sam Houston State open.
Enter Seminoles designated hitter Quincy Nieporte, who hit a ball directly at the Bearkats' Taylor Beene, who stepped on his bag and turned it over to Lance Miles for the force at second, before it made its way to Hunter Hearn at first.
Nieporte wasn't even close to making it safely to first base. Yikes.
