Florida State guard Malik Beasley will declare for the 2016 NBA Draft, the school announced Monday.
As a freshman, Beasley averaged 15.6 points per game and 5.3 rebounds, shooting 47 percent from the field in the tough ACC. A five-game losing streak in February and an 8-10 conference record kept the Seminoles out of the post season.
Beasley is expected to be drafted in the mid-to-late first round in June's draft as a pure scoring shooting guard.
Fellow dynamic Seminole freshman Dwayne Bacon has yet to declare for the draft, but is expected to.
