Oklahoma State parts ways with HC Travis Ford

It was widely reported Oklahoma State and head coach Travis Ford were bound for a divorce and now the news is official, as the school announced the move Friday.
"I like Travis Ford and his family," athletic director Mike Holder said. "He worked very hard at his job, Unfortunately, we have to move on."
Ford spent eight seasons with the program, compiling a 155-111 record, but a dismal 2015-16 campaign was enough to signal the end of his tenure. The Cowboys battled injuries to Phil Forte and Jawun Evans throughout the campaign, posting a disappointing 12-20 record with an embarrassing 3-15 mark in Big 12 play.
Oklahoma State went to the NCAA tournament five times under his watch, with this season ending a streak of three straight appearances.
