Cornell has fired head coach Bill Courtney after a dismal 10-18 record this season, according to ESPN's Jeff Goodman.

Despite finishing the season with a win, it was against last-place Brown. Prior to that, the Big Red scratched and clawed to the finish line, losing their previous nine games.

For Courtney, it's been a tough go since coming over to the Ivy League Conference. Under Courtney's guidance, Cornell has never finish better than fifth. This year it was capped off by a 3-11 conference record.

Prior to joining the Big Red, Courtney had stops at Virginia Tech, Virginia, George Mason, and Bowling Green.
