Kentucky's Tyler Ulis suffers hyperextended elbow vs. South Florida
Dennis Wierzbicki / USA TODAY Sport
Kentucky won comfortably over South Florida on Friday, but there's a reason for concern.
Guard Tyler Ulis left the game with a hyperextended elbow and didn't return. The Wildcats are listing him as day to day.
Ulis became a floor general for Kentucky this season, seeing his minutes upped to 35 per contest and becoming one of John Calipari's most trusted players.
The sophomore is averaging 14.2 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in 2015. Kentucky can't afford to lose Ulis for a significant amount of time.
