VIDEO: Maryland, Rhode Island coaches scream at each other after game
Tommy Gilligan / USA TODAY Sports
Maryland won the game against Rhode Island, but it's not clear who won the war of words.
Mark Turgeon and Dan Hurley, coaches for Maryland and Rhode Island, respectively, engaged in a heated shouting match after the game. The reasons for the altercation weren't immediately clear but it could have had something to do with Maryland launching a 3-pointer late in the blowout win, or Rhode Island calling a timeout seconds after.
