Seton Hall's Sterling Gibbs to seek graduate transfer

Seton Hall guard Sterling Gibbs will seek a transfer, the university announced Tuesday.

The news was first reported by Adam Zagoria of Zagsblog.com.

As a graduate transfer, Gibbs will be immediately eligible to play for a new team.

Gibbs attended Texas for one season before transferring to Seton Hall.

As a junior, he averaged 16.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.1 rebounds, while shooting 43.6 percent from beyond the arc with the Pirates.

Seton Hall went 16-15 this past season, closing out the year on a 4-13 run after starting the season 12-2.
