PHOTO: Ohio State student programs DNA to create Script Ohio

Sometimes, passion for a college athletics program is literally in your DNA.
Case in point: Ohio State Ph.D candidate Mike Hudoba used so-called DNA origami - a process where scientists bend and fold DNA strands into specific shapes - to create the Buckeyes iconic marching band Script Ohio, according to Laura Arenschield of The Columbus Dispatch.

Hudoba's DNA origami has also been recognized by Guinness World Records, and will be included in the 2016 edition.
