VIDEO: Kentucky's Cauley-Stein dominating at wide receiver in high school
Kentucky forward Willie Cauley-Stein is a load to handle on the hardwood. On the gridiron, he was an even tougher task for defenders.
In this high school highlight reel from 2011, Cauley-Stein is notably the largest player for Olathe Northwest High School in Kansas.
The Wildcats forward, who didn't play football until his senior season in high school, parlayed his size and potential into a scholarship offer to play football at Kansas.
He finished his senior high school season with 64 catches for 1,265 yards and 15 touchdowns.
"He would catch slants and put his shoulder down looking for contact. He was a very physical player on the football field," Olathe Northwest High School athletic director Jay Novacek said of Cauley-Stein, according to Bill Bender of the Sporting News.
