Report: Syracuse's Chris McCullough to undergo surgery for torn ACL Friday

Syracuse forward Chris McCullough is reportedly expecting to have surgery to repair his torn ACL on Friday.

McCullough's uncle Andre said that Dr. Answorth Allen - team orthopedist for the New York Knicks - is expected to perform the operation, according to Donna Ditota of syracuse.com.

The 6-foot-10, 220-pound freshman suffered the injury in the first half of the Jan. 11 game against Florida State

He averaged 9.3 points and 6.9 rebounds along with 2.1 blocks per game.
