Report: UConn, Indiana, Michigan, UCLA recruiting Prince Ali 'hard'
Four-star recruit Prince Ali has become a hot commodity since backing out of his commitment to Connecticut.
In an interview with Alex Bozich of Inside the Hall, the Florida guard listed UConn, Indiana, Michigan, and UCLA among the schools pushing hard for him.
"Maryland is coming at me hard, Nebraska is coming at me real hard. Providence is coming at me," Ali said. "There's plenty of schools coming at me, but those four are pretty much the main schools."
Ali was the first of UConn's 2015 class to commit, but announced in May that he was reopening his recruitment. He said his decision will hinge largely on his relationship with a school's head coach.
"Every school has their pitch," Ali said. "Michigan and Connecticut tell me they need a 2015 guard, UCLA tells me they need a 2015 guard that can score and Indiana tells me that I play like Victor Oladipo and Dwyane Wade, and Tom Crean thinks he can work with that and they think that I can eventually make it to the NBA.
"I'm looking for a good dude, a good person and a coach that I can relate to on and off the court."
