Matej Buovac leaving New Mexico State for Sacred Heart

Former New Mexico State forward Matej Buovac is transferring to Sacred Heart. 

Aggies head coach Marvin Menzies confirmed Buovac's departure, thanking him for his efforts. 

"I would like to thank Matej for his time spent at NM State and his contributions to the men's basketball program. We wish him luck with his academic and athletic endeavors in the future," Menzies stated via New Mexico's athletics website. 

The Croatia native averaged two points last season, while receiving an average of 7.4 minutes per game.
