No. 2 Kansas trailed by as many as nine points during the first half of its Round of 64 matchup against No. 15 Eastern Kentucky but emerged with a 32-32 tie at halftime, thanks in part to the chemistry between freshmen Frank Mason and Andrew Wiggins.

Wiggins finished the first half with a team-leading 10 points, while Colonels guard Glenn Cosey has a game-high 14 points.

The Jayhawks committed 13 turnovers in the first half and were 0-for-3 from 3-point range, but are 14-for-21 shooting and hold a 20-8 rebounding advantage. Eastern Kentucky is keeping pace despite shooting 9-for-28 through 20 minutes.
