Ron Holland, the second overall prospect in the 2023 ESPN 100, signed with the G League Ignite, he told ESPN's Jeff Borzello and Paul Biancardi.

Holland decommitted from Texas at the end of April but only recently got released from his letter of intent.

"The G League will help me reach my potential as a basketball player and prepare me for the NBA," Holland said. "To have a long career, I need to prepare my body and improve my skills as I continue to try to win games. They have a program to help develop my body and my game."

The 6-foot-8 forward from Duncanville, Texas, initially picked the Longhorns over UCLA and Arkansas. Holland averaged 11.1 points and 6.6 rebounds at the FIBA U17 World Championships last summer.

Matas Buzelis, the No. 5 prospect in the 2023 ESPN 100, also signed with the Ignite on Wednesday, the league announced.

A 6-foot-9 wing from Chicago, Buzelis was named a McDonald's All-American in 2023 with Sunrise Christian Academy in Kansas. He averaged 15.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.6 blocks per game.

Buzelis also received offers from North Carolina, Wake Forest, Kentucky, and Florida State.

Six Ignite players have been drafted into the NBA since the team's creation in 2020, including Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green, Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga, and New Orleans Pelicans wing Dyson Daniels.

Ignite players looking to be drafted in June include Scoot Henderson, Leonard Miller, and Sidy Cissoko.
