In a pair of since-deleted tweets, Michigan star Hunter Dickinson alleged Friday that Texas Tech head coach Mark Adams prevented a transfer to the Wolverines.

Dickinson said Adams wouldn't allow former Red Raiders guard Terrence Shannon to take the classes he needed to graduate and join Michigan. The Chicago native could've only played for the Wolverines as a grad transfer.

Shannon, who committed to Illinois just hours prior to Dickinson's tweets, originally wanted to transfer to the Wolverines, according to The Field of 68.

Neither Adams nor Texas Tech has commented on Dickinson's allegations.

Illinois is one of Michigan's Big Ten conference rivals. Dickinson in particular has had some bad blood with the school, criticizing their fans last year.
