Duke freshman forward Jalen Johnson is out indefinitely with a foot injury and will miss the Blue Devils' game against Notre Dame on Wednesday, the team announced Tuesday.

How and when Johnson suffered the injury is unclear.

Johnson has averaged 11.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, two blocks, and one steal in four games this season. He enjoyed a magnificent debut against Coppin State in Duke's season opener, contributing 19 points, 19 rebounds, and five assists in the victory.

The 18-year-old is projected as a top-10 pick in the 2021 draft class.
