Report: Juwan Howard's son to be walk-on at Michigan

After initially committing to Michigan with the expectation of being a scholarship player, three-star forward Jace Howard will instead be a walk-on with the program, sources told The Michigan Insider's Josh Henschke.

The 6-foot-8 forward from Miami's University School is the son of former "Fab Five" icon and current Wolverines head coach Juwan Howard.

Michigan amassed a 19-12 (.613) record in the elder Howard's first season on the sidelines.
