Throughout the college basketball season, we'll highlight some of the top betting trends for the biggest games on the schedule. Here are the best trends and angles for Wednesday's slate.

No. 6 Duke (-6.5, 152) at NC State

These programs haven't been on equal footing for a while, but Duke has still struggled with NC State in recent years, going 0-5 against the spread in the last five meetings with two outright losses as a double-digit favorite. Expect a high-scoring game in this one, as the over has hit in six straight and 11 of the last 13 in the series.

Trend play: NC State +6.5, over 152

Syracuse at No. 11 Louisville (-9.5, 144.5)

Louisville's lackluster ATS performance (5-8-1 ATS in its last 14) is finally catching up to it in the form of outright losses to inferior teams. The Cardinals could be heading for another clunker against Syracuse, which is 7-3 ATS in its last 10 and 6-1 ATS this year on the road, where it's 7-0 to the over.

Trend play: Syracuse +9.5, over 144.5

No. 13 Auburn (-3.5, 149.5) at Georgia

Things haven't been going well lately for Auburn, which lost outright on Saturday for its third straight ATS defeat and seventh in its last 10 games. The Tigers are also 0-4 ATS this year as road favorites and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 in that spot, which bodes well for Georgia as a live 'dog.

Trend play: Georgia +3.5

No. 21 Butler at No. 16 Seton Hall (-4.5, 134.5)

We said it Tuesday, and we'll say it again: When ranked teams meet, take the 'dog, which is now 11-2-1 ATS in its last 14 tries. Butler is a brutal 1-8-1 ATS in its last 10 games, but the Bulldogs are 5-2 ATS this year as underdogs. Seton Hall, meanwhile, is riding a 1-5-1 ATS stretch as a favorite.

Trend play: Butler +4.5
