Throughout the college basketball season, we'll highlight some of the top betting trends for the biggest games on the schedule. Here are the best angles for Wednesday's slate.

No. 1 Baylor (-3.5, 141) at Iowa State

Baylor has passed every test so far as the nation's top-ranked team, winning 16 straight games and six of its last seven against the spread. Now, the Bears will put their perfect 4-0 ATS road record up against Iowa State, which is an impressive 7-4 ATS at home but just 2-5 ATS against ranked teams this season.

Trend play: Baylor -3.5

No. 4 San Diego State (-10, 144.5)

Those waiting anxiously for a San Diego State collapse might have to wait a bit longer. The undefeated Aztecs (21-0) are a stellar 6-1 ATS on the road and they've covered three of their last four as double-digit favorites after stalling earlier in the season. New Mexico is a perfect 13-0 straight up at home, but none of those wins came against ranked teams.

Trend play: San Diego State -10

No. 6 Louisville (-12.5, 133) at Boston College

Louisville continues to extend its winning streak despite some inconsistent play, which includes three ATS losses in its last four road games. Boston College hasn't been much better at home - especially on offense - leading to an 11-4-2 under run in its last 17 at Conte Forum.

Trend play: Under 133

Vanderbilt at No. 13 Kentucky (-20, 142.5)

It's not often we see a team giving 20 points in a conference game, but the line bodes well for Kentucky against SEC foe Vanderbilt. Favorites of 20 points or more against conference opponents have gone 56-45-2 ATS (55.4%) since 2017 and 7-3 ATS in their last 10. The under is also 11-5 in John Calipari's last 16 games when giving 20 or more.

Trend play: Kentucky -20, under 142.5

Northwestern at No. 14 Michigan State (-17.5, 139)

Few teams are playing better defense right now than Michigan State, which is riding a five-game under run into Wednesday's conference clash at home, where the Spartans have covered six straight games. Northwestern has lost four of its last five ATS and is 7-13-2 ATS in its last 22 contests as a road 'dog.

Trend play: Michigan State -17.5, under 139
