Throughout the college basketball season, we'll highlight some of the top betting trends for the biggest games on the schedule. Here are the best angles for Thursday's slate.

No. 11 Michigan State (-4, 142.5) at Indiana

Michigan State has shot up the rankings amid a 6-1 run against the spread, but this is a tough spot for the Spartans, who are 0-3 ATS as road favorites this season and 1-4 ATS in their last five. Indiana coach Archie Miller is an exceptional 13-3 ATS as a home 'dog with seven ATS wins in his last eight tries.

Trend play: Indiana +4

USC at No. 12 Oregon (-9.5, 139)

Oregon pulled off a wild comeback in its last game against Washington for the miraculous cover, but don't let that distract you from a three-game ATS losing streak before that. Still, laying the points here is the more attractive play when you see USC's 2-9 ATS record as a road underdog since 2018.

Trend play: Oregon -9.5

Connecticut at No. 25 Houston (-9, 131.5)

Casual basketball fans are getting their introduction to Houston after the program cracked the Top 25 this week, but savvy bettors have been riding the Cougars' 8-1 ATS run since Dec. 19. Connecticut, meanwhile, owns just one ATS win in its last four games and only three outright road victories in the last three seasons combined.

Trend play: Houston -9

Minnesota at Ohio State (-7.5, 134)

For the first time all season, the Buckeyes aren't in the Top 25, thanks in part to a brutal six-game ATS losing streak with five outright losses in that span. They could finally catch a break against Minnesota, which is 22-36-2 ATS (37.9%) with just 10 outright wins as a road 'dog under Richard Pitino.

Trend play: Ohio State -7.5

Washington (-1, 134) at Utah

This line seems to be underselling how bad things have gotten for Utah, which is 1-5 ATS in its last six contests with four losses of at least 15 points. The Utes are also 2-7-2 ATS in their last 11 games as home underdogs. If you're looking to bet the total, Washington coach Mike Hopkins has gone 7-1 to the under as a road favorite.

Trend play: Washington -1, under 134
