Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway says guard Lester Quinones will miss at least three weeks due to a broken right hand, according to Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian.

The four-star recruit is currently seeing a specialist about the injury.

"We found out he had the third and fourth metatarsal broken in his hand," Hardaway said Monday, per Hill. "He does not need surgery. Estimated days being out is 21 days or three weeks. So we'll see how that goes. Hopefully, that goes as planned and he doesn't need any more time, but he broke two bones in his right hand."

Quinones left in the first half of Memphis' 87-86 win over Ole Miss on Saturday and didn't return.

The freshman guard is averaging 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds, and three assists across six starts for the Tigers. Quinones was part of Memphis' star-studded 2019 recruiting class that includes projected first overall pick James Wiseman.

Memphis is 5-1 and returns to action on Thursday against NC State.
