Michigan State guard Kyle Ahrens had to be carted off in the first half of Sunday's Big Ten Tournament championship game against Michigan with an apparent left ankle injury.
X-rays on Ahrens' left foot didn't show a fracture, an MSU spokesperson said, according to the Detroit Free Press' Chris Solari.
While attempting to secure a rebound, Ahrens fell awkwardly on his ankle and avoided moving his leg for several minutes before medical staff helped him off the court.
