Watch: JBA executive learns multiple players haven't been paid

Former Junior Basketball Association player Brandon Phillips spoke out in August about not receiving all of his promised pay from the league, and as we learn on the latest episode of "Ball in the Family," he wasn't the only one.

At around the 16:45 mark, Shawn Lee of the Chicago Ballers informs JBA executive Alan Foster that he's still owed three paychecks and needs to pay his phone bill. Foster then asks around and learns multiple players haven't been paid.

"I don't know what we're going to do about this," Foster says afterward. "But we have to get to the bottom of it and find out exactly what happened."

Phillips, who was cut by the Los Angeles Ballers midway through the JBA's inaugural season, said he only received one-third of the salary he was promised - a claim that was later refuted by JBA officials.
